Dr. Bailey from Word of Faith Ministries says that where we go to church is a matter of life and death. That sounds extreme but it can be found in the bible which also tells us we should take heed what we hear, and take heed how we hear. (Mark 4:24, Luke 8:18) Why did Jesus consider what, and how, we're hearing so important? Because “faith comes by hearing, and hearing by the Word of God.” (Romans 10:17) If we check this out in the Greek translation, we find a “concordant literal” rendering that reads as: “Faith comes to you by more than the mere sense of hearing, but by hearing and receiving teaching from the Word of God.” So we need a preacher to teach us the Word "in order" for faith to come.
Well the River has one with a passion for God's Word and a desire to get it inside each of us. His faith is so infectious that when he jumps on stage, we become as excited as he is about the coming Word even if not earlier. Teachings are fresh for walking out, and it's harder leaving as the person that entered because we receive light where shadows were earlier. Pastor John Wiley at River Church Family truly has a message to preach and you are blessed hearing it.Added November 20, 2016 by Charles - ★ ★ ★ ☆ ☆
3 stars. Only because the site was not up to date. I came out from California for business and wanted to attend the 11:00 AM service at the recommendation of my Pastor but when I arrived at 11 they were wrapping up with worship. Worship was good and the Holy Spirit was there :) Site says service times at 9 and 11. Please correct :)

River Church Family has been my church home Since 2008.
It is a Center of Love for everyone.
I consider it a joy to be aligned with this Community of Believers that loves.
When looking for a place to call home one of the critical factor is alignment with vision and value.
How can you walk together accept we agree in Christ plan and word??Added September 08, 2016 by Minister Solomon Buckley - ★ ★ ★ ★ ★
My wife and I started attending the River almost a year ago and this was the perfect church home for us. From the day we walked in we felt the love of the lord and the people that attended. You will feel right at home and everyone there cares about you and our community. I can't wait to attend on Sunday's and the small groups during the week will only help your relationship with the lord. If you get a chance come to The River and see how your life with the lord will grow and watch the sincere friendships you will make growing in the lord.
